Priority areas
The National Cooperative Learning Service (Sescoop) carries out activities in three priority areas:
- professional training: carried out through actions aimed at the development,
qualification and training of members, managers, and employees of cooperatives,
based on cooperative values and principles;
- organization and social promotion: through actions that ensure the improvement
of the standards of living of cooperative employees, members and their families,
extended also to the communities where they are located;
- cooperative supervision and development: through the offering of orientation,
consultation and control of cooperatives, in order to improve the quality of their
management; defending the cooperative doctrine, its legality, credibility before
society, transparency both within and outside the enterprise, and guarantee the
continuity of its social and economic objectives.
